The TEATRACK HYBRID (Halogen Free)

The TEATRACK HYBRID is a member of our quadruple lead / bi-wiring loudspeaker cable range.

Its four leads each feature 147 high purity dense Silver coated high purity Matched Crystal Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) strands with an effective cross-section area of 2.96 mm² equalling AWG 12.5 and exhibiting a resistance of 0.58 Ohm per 100 meter.

Covering each conductor is a layer containing our Linear Structured Carbon ®; This combination of metal and carbon (hybrid technology) has excellent properties when it comes to resolution and neutrality.

The cable’s cream colored jacket is made of our HULLIFLEX ® 5; a material with excellent mechanical, chemical and environmental properties, thus providing the cable with an optimal protection.

The TEATRACK HYBRID’s external dimensions are: 25.5 mm. wide and 6.0 mm. thick.

Polarity determination is simple: the four conductors have different insulator shapes, furthermore, one set has two cuts and the other set has only one cut and a flat surface at the other side with type printing.
Type printing at 25 cm. (10") distance allows easy cutting of lengths.
It is advised to use the two inside conductors as the cold (-) leads and both outer conductors as the hot (+) leads.

The TEATRACK HYBRID is the quadruple lead / bi-wiring version of our The CS - 122 HYBRID.

Next to our standard sales units (see specifications below) The TEATRACK HYBRID is also available on 50 m. reels packed in a 320 x 320 x 310 mm. box with a total shipping weight of 13.8 kg.

Technology: Carbon and Hybrid Technology

Metal-free interlinks… Many years ago we were the first to build a metal free interlink called The FIRST® with our now famous Linear Structured Carbon® (L.S.C.).

Second  

We started using carbon for several reasons but the number one is its sonic quality. In physical terms, the Linear Structured Carbon ® (L. S. C.) is a 5.5 micron carbon fiber insulated with a 0.25 micron layer around it. Each one of these fibers is 100% pure carbon.

The carbon layer secures the surface conductivity in case of minor damages and reduces dramatically high frequency interference and microphony when compared to metal conductors. It also forms an extra protection against the invasion of corrosive chemicals.

Carbon has the extraordinary capability to conduct right to the smallest signal level (oscillation), to a point where others materials would fail completely. It also maintains that quality for longer periods than traditional materials. Impedance is not the only factor to consider!...

L. S. C. fibers conduct electricity through its free electrons. However the number of these is lower than regular metals meaning a (still manageable) higher resistance. The remaining electrons are engaged in binding the carbon atoms together.

These binding electrons largely outnumber those usually found in regular metals like copper, silver or gold. This higher amount lends LSC fibers superior mechanic strength besides chemical and thermal stability. They are strong, chemically inert (unreactive to other elements compounds) and present no thermal degradation with test temperatures up to 2000º C (≈3600º F).

We’ve submitted L. S. C. to a really challenging test:  After more than a year immersed in battery acid, we didn’t notice any changes in material properties on our cable The THIRD ® didn’t suffer material changes. Such experience could only be repeated with pure gold or pure platinum, considerably pricier than the L. S. C.

The ageing/break down effects and their resulting degradation in sound quality, so commonly found with metal conductors, do not affect L. S. C. Our L. S. C. interconnects and loudspeaker cables made of LSC do offer an everlasting sonic quality.

L. S. C.  is exclusively applied by our company thanks to several patents we have applied for this special one-of-a-kind material.
