The DAAS® Measurement System
Not only applicable in the field of audio measurements, the DAAS® measurement system is a highly versatile and powerful PC-based solution to a broad range of commercial, scientific and engineering test and measurement applications.
Application areas include (audio) electronics, acoustics, building technology and vibration analysis.
As a strong point, the system offers competing performance and versatility to the more known measurement systems at a much more affordable price, making it an attractive alternative.
Built around state of the art high precision AD/DA converters and powerful, yet user friendly software, the system provides calibratable measurements with repeatable accuracy in a very broad range of standard and more exotic signal analysis types, as well as automated test sequences for production quality control applications.
The system consists of a computer-linked external front-end cabinet which provides a powered measurement microphone input as well as analog signal I/O (line-level and 40 Watt power) with user controllable signal amplification and signal routing.
The accompanying software has an intuitive menu control, is easy to learn and runs on a plain Windows XP based PC or laptop.
The system is available in two versions:
DAAS® 4 USB and DAAS® 4 Pro II
for which our company has worldwide exclusive distribution rights (view certificate).
To illustrate both systems' features the table below gives an overview.
For extended information about both systems' capabilities, please refer to the product brochures and user manuals found at 'Related Articles & Papers' further below.
