SCS - 28 M
 The SCS - 28 M is a 28 gauge, 7 strand single-lead.
Each of the 7 strands is made of a very high grade Matched Crystal (MC) OFC covered with a dense and very pure silver coating.
The resistance is: 19.4 Ohm/100 meter.
The total metal cross-section area is: 0.089 mm².
The external diameter is: 0.66 mm.
The insulation is made of PTFE in the colour yellow.
The diameter is too small to make a clear type printing on this wire.
Typical use of the SCS - 28 M is internal wiring in pre-amplifiers and mixing consoles. Also medical purposes can be optimally served with this flexible interconnect.
A special application is the wiring of back-panel areas in electronic equipment such as computers and business machines where movements should not cause mechanical damage to the connections.
And don’t forget: 4 x SCS - 28 M twisted together (with clockwise conductor wiring +-+- = starquad) and you have made your own interconnect.
The SCS 28 M is available on 100 meter reels.
Each reel weighs 0.50 kg.
