VIDEOLINK 75 "Antenna" (Halogen Free)
 In a world with a continuous growing interest in video-communications, it is obvious to design and produce a special quality 75 Ohm video-cable.
We therefore have the VIDEOLINK 75 in our program.
The typical application area of the VIDEOLINK 75 is:
- Video connections between video-recorders, cameras and monitors.
- Home-theatre video links.
- Digital (SPDIF) links between CD or DAT-players and DA-converters.
- AD-converter to digital recorder linking.
- Cable for the internal rewiring of CD-players and DA-converters.
- 75 Ohm antenna connections (cable TV/-Radio).
- Interconnects between measuring equipment.
The VIDEOLINK 75’s attractive light blue coloured 7 mm. diameter jacket is made of our durable HULLIFLEX ® 3 material.
The shield is made of 96 x 0.15 mm. dense and very pure silver coated Matched Crystal (MC) OFC strands followed by a second layer of PET coated aluminum foil.
The inner insulator is made of high density PE to prevent impedance variations caused by external pressure and bending.
The centre-conductor consists of 12 x 0.15 mm. dense and very pure silver coated Matched Crystal (MC) OFC strands.
The resistance of the centre conductor is: 8.4 Ohm/100 meter.
The resistance of the braiding and Al-foil together is: 1.2 Ohm/100 meter.
The capacitance per meter is: 56 pF.
To prevent penetration of humid and/or polluted air, the ends of this cable are closed with caps when shipped on 100 meter reels.
The VIDEOLINK 75 is available:
- On 100 meter reels: closed with endcaps in a box with external dimensions of 255 x 255 x 205 mm. and a shipping weight incl. packing of 7.6 kg.
- Single packed with BNC or slim body* RCA (unbalanced) connectors in 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5 m. lengths. (Larger lengths can be made on special request).
- In six lead packed sets for AV applications with slim body* RCA (unbalanced) connectors in 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5 m. lengths. (Larger lengths can be made on special request).
- Single packed “Antenna” version with television style coaxial plugs (male and female, metal screened, right angled (elbow type), high quality Hirschmann brand)
for antenna/cable TV and radio connections in 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 m. lengths. (Larger lengths can be made on special request).

*: In RCA connector terminated version the cable comes with our so-called “slim body” connectors. These high quality connectors have been specially designed to also allow problem free insertion in countersunk RCA receptables as sometimes found at the rear of A/V equipment. Our slim body RCA type connectors furthermore are heavy gold plated and have a coloured channel identification ring. |
