From our AV product range we are proud to present our The SCART; A high performance SCART audio/video cable:

The SCART is suitable for connections between television sets and video cassette recorders (VCRs) or other AV equipment employing the standard rectangular 21 pole SCART connector.

To ensure both a clean, clear and sharp image with superb color definition, excellent contrast and fine detail as well as excellent audio quality, even when using longer cable runs, great care has been paid to this cable’s design:

The SCART is made-up of six high quality, low-loss coaxial 75 Ohm video lines, four individually shielded audio lines, a coaxial data line, a coaxial clock line and a switch line to transport the full set of component video, stereo audio and control signals. All signal lines are identified by colour coded jackets.
Precise manufacturing of the coaxial lines minimizes signal delay differences to keep the video colour component signals perfectly aligned.
The coaxial lines’ special internal cell-PE insulation material and the dense silver coated Matched Crystal Oxygen Free Copper (MCOFC) cores plus shields minimize signal losses (attenuation) and provide a high transmission bandwidth.
To maintain optimum signal quality, our high quality dense silver coated MCOFC conductor material and low-loss PE insulation are also used for all other signal lines within the cable.
In addition, all internal signal lines are contained within a 100% closed extra shield to prevent any signal quality degradation due to interference from external noise.
A rugged pearl white coloured HULLIFLEX ^® 4 jacket furthermore provides excellent protection against mechanical and environmental influences.

Our ready made units are equipped with elegant metallic cobalt blue coloured 21 pole male SCART connectors at both sides. These special quality SCART connectors have heavy gold plated contacts to ensure a reliable connection and a metal housing for optimum signal shielding and ruggedness.

Next to our standard sales units (see specifications below) The SCART is also available on 50 m. reels fitted with end-caps to prevent any entrance of chemically polluted air.
